Cutting Board

Cutting Board :: 2009

Have a few bread board designs, but this is the easiest to build, and is the most stable when the wood becomes wet.  I use offcuts from the main shop and laminate them so the end grain goes vertical.  The panel is now quarter sawn wood.  Then I add Walnut end caps.  The glue is Titebond III (food safe and water resistant), the finish is Chapham’s beeswax salad bowl finish, and I clean them by rubbing salt and rinsing with water.

Every board looks different.  I’m ready for production.
